Windows Se7en - The Redeemer

I recently installed Windows Se7en beta version on our HP Mini 1000 netbook and I am really satisfied with the performance. The HP Mini used to have the aging Windows XP SP3 but was corrupted after I installed Mozilla Thunderbird email software. Instead of me having trouble in preparing the Windows XP bootable USB drive from a Windows OEM CD copy, I have decided to try the Windows Se7en and boy I am glad in giving a try to the Windows Se7en beta version.

The performance of the HP Mini improved. The booting time and shutdown are also faster. (The installation only took around 30 minutes). Me and my wife were also surprised that the poor audio sound of the speaker (HP Mini 1000) improved compared to its previous state. It has now a bass sound. I'm currently figuring out on how to re-enable the mobile WWAN connection. I think I still have to download new drivers for the new Windows Se7en from the HP website.

I fell in-love with the new taskbar. Everyday, I use almost the same set of applications. Windows Explorer, Notepad++, E-Sword, Winamp (MP3), VLC(Movies), Windows Media Player(web streaming) and the Google Chrome (Internet browser). Using the new taskbar, you can pindown your daily-used applications for your ease of access. The taskbar is not cluttered anymore. Same window applications are "grouped" in their common application icon in the taskbar. The preview of the applications in the jump list is snappy and fast. (Learning the new taskbar may take sometime)

I enjoy using the new Windows Media Player 12.

I am totally excited with the release of Windows Se7en this coming October. I think we can also expect some surprises from Microsoft for additional features of Windows Se7en when they formally release it. I hope the upgrade from Windows Vista will be smooth as inserting a USB drive or CD. (I am still using Windows Vista in my other DELL Studio XPS 1340 killer machine)

Now, only the blind Cult Mac fanatics will refuse to bow down to Windows Se7en.

Let the new generation of OS war begin.

I will bet my dime to the winning horse, Windows Se7en.

Note: releasing the Snow Leopard weeks before the Windows Se7en debut

will not help in catching up with the number of Windows users/lovers.

Apple may need a faster animal than Snow Leopard.

How about releasing an OS named Cheetah next time?

MANILA - ERANO Manalo, the politically influential leader of a major Philippine Catholic sect,
has died aged 84, the group said on Tuesday.

Manalo, the executive minister of the two-million-strong Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ),
died of a heart attack on Monday, sect spokesman Bienvenido Santiago said in a radio announcement.

The Iglesia ni Cristo, founded by Erano's father in 1914,
instructs its members to vote as a bloc and thus is eagerly courted by politicians

Chris Cornell - Scar On The Sky

I love how Chris Cornell sings Scar On The Sky, very emotional and passionate. Which may lead you to forget about the lyrical content and just sing along with him. The first time I heard the song immediately caught my ear and heart. I knew there is something behind the lyrics so I decided deciphering the meaning of it.

The first point you can apply the song is in the point of view of Superman. Scar On The Sky may mean that Superman is planning to abandon the task of being a sky-patrol (leaving a scar on the sky) because he is tired of saving people with it's endless crime. He draws his strength from Lois Lane to give humanity another try (this may explain the first stanza, where Superman leaves a note to Lois Lane about his dilemma whether to continue saving people. The reply of Lois Lane to help Superman's personal problem can give another strength and will to the hero) The chorus can be applied to Superman and Lois Lane having a date on a night sky, flying over the city while holding hands or Superman holding Lois Lane in his arms. During those moments, Superman can draw another strength and will to fight evil people and give the humanity another chance by fighting evil folks.

The second point you can apply the song is to another flying creature, the wizard Howl (of the Anime movie HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE-you should watch it!!!). There are scenes in the movie that the wizard Howl transforms into a bird-like creature to interfere in a war probably driving away missiles or detonating missiles in the air that will harm people. Each time Howl transform into a bird makes it even harder for him to return back into human form. There are some scenes that shows that Howl is really really tired after returning back from a bird into human again. Howl's love to Sophie drives him to interfere in the war to save humans. In the latter part of the movie, Howl completely transform into a bird. Sophie helped Howl to transform back into human form with the help of the fire demon Calcifer. I think the song Scar On The Sky fits more to Howl than Superman. But the lyrics can be applied to both Superman and Howl.

The second stanza (the paragraph after the first chorus) can represent a secret hiding place for heroes whenever they are tired of their heroic tasks. It is a place where these super-strength creatures find solace and wishing to be saved or be helped with their personal problem. I mean, thousands of heroes have been created already but it seems antagonists for happy endings are always there. Even Superman and Spiderman gets tired.

The third point you can apply the song Scar On the Sky is on our everyday heroes let's say our father. It's a reality that kids love and respect their father with the highest mark inside their comfortable home. It's also a reality that fathers sometimes receives disrespect from their boss at work. Which may include fathers being scolded by their stupid boss at work (You should watch a Wonder Year episode about this one). Fathers sometimes losses the will to continue because of depression and/or during recession-time or after losing a job. After these terrible things at work, the father may ask for a night-out with his wife (or with children) to drive away problems and at least enjoy a night and hoping that wonderful night will never end. After having a wonderful date with a wife and coming home to/with the children is a wonderful way of driving away negative feelings.

I got a red petite and cute theKube MP3 player and this gadget rocks! I was surprised by the quality of theKube turns out to be. Really nice. I am a long time fan of my Palm TX PDA. I used to play my MP3 files by placing it on my 2gb SD Card and placed it inside my PALM TX and use pocket tunes. But listening to the quality of the sound coming out from theKube MP3 player really surprised me.

It seems that there's a sound beast inside this small beautiful theKube MP3 player. The bass sound is really good. Another great thing is you can play MP3 while traveling by placing theKube in your palm. You can easily navigate thru the songs, control volume by using just your fingers. Really handy. Unlike if your using Palm TX or iPod or iPhone that you have to put it in your (pants, shirt, bag) pocket and pull it out if you like to skip on a particular song.

I strongly suggest to everyone on buying the Kube MP3 player. The sound is really great. The MP3 player is very small and cute. Really cheap(S$35 @ 7-11 stores). It comes with a 2gb mini SDCard and USB reader so you can easily transfer songs from your PC to the mini SDCard. It can also serve as your emergency temporary storage.

Please also take note that the free earphone sounds also nice. It does not emit loud music to your sit mate in the office. Not scandalous inside MRT. The charging time (thru USB) is also really fast, around 1 hour, I have tested it. Although the documentation claims that it can playback 6 hours, I haven't tried it yet that long, but I can attest that it has a long battery life.

If you need a cheap (and yet beautiful) gadget that needs to serve as a gift, give your love one a favor by buying them the Kube MP3 player, it's worth it. No worries of dropping your MP3 player in the floor anymore.

Arnold Clavio and Luchi Cruz-Valdes are both products of GMA 7 Network.

Arnold Clavio and Luchi Cruz-Valdes are both embarrassment to their fellow journalists(?).

Luchi Cruz-Valdes has been part of GMA’s Probe Team before she left in 2001 to join ABS-CBN (probably she have seen how the News and Current Affairs of GMA7 is deteriorating). Even broadcast journalist Cheche Lazaro had a problem with GMA7 Network. Cheche Lazaro and the Probe Team claimed that the GMA7 network was pressured on a certain topic about Pagcor. The Probe team had cut their 16-year tie with GMA7 network and decided to left the pathetic GMA7.

After moving to ABS-CBN Channel 2, Luchi Cruz-Valdes featured a malicious comics on her Special Assignment program. The malicious comics aimed to malign the personality of preacher Bro. Eli Soriano. The Special Assignment program of Luchi Cruz-Valdes based the episode on false witnesses of Iglesia Ni Cristo. The 'witnesses' presented by Luchi Cruz-Valdes are rejected members of Ang Dating Daan group and joined Iglesia Ni Cristo out of desperation. How can a journalist(?) like Luchi Cruz-Valdes will air a segment based on false witnesses and malicious comics? Are there any valid reason for it? I simply cannot understand it. What's the motive? Lo and Behold, here comes another GMA7 Network fanboy who come with the name of Arnold Clavio (sometime being associated with Sarah Balabagan). I never grew fond of Unang Hirit after GMA7 decided to let go of Kuya Daniel Razon because of religious reason. Unang Hirit is an early morning program full of TV commercials. Everything on the Unang Hirit show are sponsored. No Public Service whatever. All Profits.

(If you haven't noticed, this is the second time in this article that GMA7 Network has been linked for being pressured by outside forces. 1-GMA network terminated the contract of PROBE TEAM after the Pagcor Controversy 2-GMA Network decided to let go Daniel Razon because of religious persecution)

Arnold Clavio featured Bro Eli Soriano on his segment Case Unclosed. The report was PURELY one-sided as it ONLY interviewed the accuser Daniel 'puto' Veridiano. The absence of the one being accused is highly questionable. Why are you going to air a court case that is currently being heard on a legal court? The legal department of GMA7 Network should have been reminded by SUB JUDICE. Why is that GMA7 network very hasty on airing that particular report? Why is that GMA 7 network asking Bro. Eli Soriano to discuss the merits of the case on a national tv that will lead him to be cited for contempt of court (sub judice)?

Richard Dawkins is the current leading prophet of the Atheism gospel.
The Atheist faith that involves on believing the Darwinism doctrine.

Piltdown Man is a classic case of a Scientific hoax
Nebraska Man is a classic case of s Scientific mistake
Let me introduce you a Scientific racism with Ota Benga.

Ota Benga was an African Pigmy, 23 years old, with Height, 4 feet 11 inches and of weight, 103 pounds.
He once lived in forests of Belgian Congo. He used to have 2 wives and 2 children but died on certain causes.
Ota Benga and other "primitive peoples" were put on display on a 1904 Saint Louis World Fair in USA.
He was sent to USA from Belgian Congo by an African explorer Samuel Verner.

After being displayed in 1904 Saint Louis World Fair, Ota Benga was sent to Bronx Zoo, New York City, 1906,
where he was caged along with a gorilla named Dinah, an orangutan named Dohung.
He was put in the world fair and eventually in the zoo to promote human evolution and Darwinism.
The exhibit attracted 40,000 visitors on weekends. People would poke, laugh and yell at Ota Benga
with their curiosity to the poor small guy. Imagine the feeling of visitors laughing and yelling
on a human being inside a monkey's cage, that would be unbearable even to this young man from the forest.

Protests were held by the black community which lead the Bronx Zoo to let go of Ota Benga.
Church-sponsored orphanage adopted Ota Benga and tried to put him in school and gave him a decent job.
Sadly, On March 20, 1916, at the age of 32, Ota Benga committed suicide with a stolen gun.
He was buried in an unmarked grave.

This is such cruel treatment of the evolutionists to a poor young "native" Ota Benga.
With their zealousness and being fanatic in Darwinism, they were able to forget human kindness
and put forward their animalistic treatment to Ota Benga.

Darwinists / "Scientists" created the Piltdown Man scandal as a scientific hoax.
A hoax which aims to deceive many about the weakening Theory of Evolution.
The evidences of the Theory of Evolution are weak which forced some Darwin fanatics
to device a wicked plan to create a Skull of modern man + lower jawbone of an orangutan
to produce a scientific hoax. But this does not stop Darwinists
in forcing their faith about evolution. After the use of a jawbone of an orangutan, this time,
they used a tooth of a pig. Piltdown Man is over, now welcome the Nebraska Man.

A tooth was found by a rancher and geologist Harold Cook in 1917
and later he sent it to Henry Fairfield Osborn, a paleontologist and
the president of the American Museum of Natural History in 1922.
Henry Osborn identified it as an ape, and quickly published a paper identifying it as a new species,
which he named Hesperopithecus haroldcookii that means "ape of the western world".

The press quickly embraced the discovery of the tooth allegedly belonged to an ape-man and
published an illustration of a family of ape based on the tooth.
Amedee Forestier modeled the drawing on the proportions of
"Pithecanthropus" (now Homo erectus), the "Java ape-man", for the Illustrated London News.
It took 5 years for the Science communities to figure it out as a scientific mistake
after further excavations were done in 1925.

5 years to expose a scientific mistake is quite an improvement
compared to 40 years to expose the Piltdown man as a scientific hoax.
Although the scandal are more embarrassing because before,
the Piltdown man involves the jawbone of an orangutan but now,
the Nebraska man involves a tooth of a pig.

Yes, the scientific frauds about Theory of Evolution is truly evolving.
The mutation of the frauds and mistakes continually deceives many.
And the Natural selection of these evidences are becoming extinct

Atheists are always trying to convey that they are more intellectual persons than people who believes in God. They will try to outsmart you with their small scientific evidences that are not yet proven which Scientists also do not believe as true. The example of which is the Big Bang Theory and Theory of Evolution which a blogpost I have written about. (Atheism is a Religion). These theories do not provide clear evidences that even great Scientists do not support.

Great Scientists believe in God. It's either they are Christians, Jew or belong to other religion, one thing is clear: They believe in God. Albert Einstein is not a Christian, he is an Agnostic. He believes in God "...who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists." He openly said that he is not an Atheist. In fact he is angry being associated with Atheists.

Atheists love defending their faith with the Theory of Evolution, they detest the Creation - the Science of Intelligent Design. Here's a news for you Atheists: Charles Darwin have said that he was never an Atheist but he's an Agnostic. His faith to Christianity faded away during his 40's specially when his favorite daughter Annie died. He stopped going to church at around 1849. Charles Darwin would usually go with his family to church but only until the gate of the church. His family would go to church while he do his walk on Sundays. Charles Darwin was devastated when his favorite daughter dies and started to think about death, afterlife and God.

(I argue here that Scientists' decision are sometimes affected by their own beliefs or some circumstances around their lives. Just like how Albert Einstein initially urged the USA to develop the atomic bomb thru nuclear fission to defeat the German Nazis, which Einstein later regretted it. --Einstein-Szilárd letter)

IMO, Atheists and Agnostics are really not that deep thinkers.
They maybe educated and graduated from universities but they cannot see the obvious logical reasoning.
They simply refuse to accept and think about the reality and just decided not to believe in anything.

I have talked, discuss and even debated with some self-centered Atheistang Pinoy and believe me, papansin lang sila. Tinatawag din nila ang mga sarili nila na THINKING PINOYS. As if, naman na sila lang ang nagiisip. They are just people wanting to be different from others. Oo nga naman, karamihan ng mga pinoy ay may religion at naniniwala sa Dios, kapag hindi ka nga naman naniwala sa Dios, instant attention nga naman yun. Pa-kontra-bida effect, pa-others, parang EMO, or talagang Pinoy EMO na nga talaga sila. At kapag naiipit na sila sa mga dahilan nila in denying GOD, they will demand respect. Ay teka,teka, magpapatawa pala muna sila, tapos aasarin ka. Kapag na-realize nilang hindi ka mabilis maasar or bumabalik na sa kanila yung mga pang-aasar nila, tsaka sila hihingi ng respeto sa paniniwala. Kung kakausapin mo sila ng masinsinan at napansin nilang may point ka, they will simply walk away at sasabihin nonsense makipag-usap sayo. "I am more intelligent than you". Feeling of superiority from others. Pride.

Slowly, Filipinos are being sucked in the vacuum of being a gambling republic.
Middle Class is a vanishing race in Philippine society.

During hard times, people tends to go for easy money.
Gambling maybe the quick answer to their needs of money.
Gambling is for everyone.

In the privilege speech of Sen Jinggoy Estrada (March 7, 2007), he revealed that slot machines are slowly being deployed in almost all major cities of the country. Strategically, slot machines are being placed in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Not only that the Government owns these slot machines, PAGCOR is also entering agreements with the contractors on running the slot machine with the 60-40 share of the profit. This is in addition to all existing small and big-time (illegal) Jueteng operations in the baranggay and barrios of the Philippine archipelago.

Casino = for rich ones
Lotto = for the masses
Bingo = (Catholic) church goers
Jueteng = for poor and very poor ones

Ang kapansin-pansin na kaibahan ng Jueteng sa Casino, Lotto at Bingo eh, tinuturing pa ring illegal ang Jueteng. Nakakatulong daw sa mga naghihirap nating kababayan ang kinikita ng gobyerno sa Casino at Lotto. Habang ang BINGO naman eh ginagamit ng simbahang katoliko sa fund-raising or any charitable cause na naiisip nila. Ang sugal ay sugal. Kahit naman ang mga magnanakaw eh, gumagawa sila ng masama para may maipakain sa pamilya nila. With that kind of logic, you cannot justify legalizing gambling.

Bakit ba hindi gawing legal ang Jueteng eh, natutulungan din naman nito ang mga KUBRADOR?
Bakit ba hindi gawing legal ang Prostitution eh, natutulungan din naman nito ang mga pokpok?

Sabi ng ilan, gawing legal na lang daw ang Jueteng kasi hindi mapigil eh.
Is this enough reason to legalize Jueteng?

Gambling Nuns @ Pagcor

The message is clear: Gambling, Prostitution, (prohibited)Drugs, Graft & Corruption are really affecting our democratic(?) society. Politicians, from the President up to Barangay Kagawads are being linked to the "illegal" Jueteng operations. Even the catholic priests are receiving payout from these gambling lords (--Archbishop Gaudencio Rosales-CBCP). Fidel Ramos (which I used to admire) had a number of government controversies but he got away with it. And, GMA had even greater number of anomalies and controversies and it appears that she will also get away with it. But not PRESIDENT Joseph "Erap" Estrada. Erap was not jailed for using public funds. Erap was accused of receiving Jueteng money. The accuser? The Governor Luis "Chavit" Singson. Is Chavit a Hero of Edsa 2, or a friend who betrayed his friend over a gambling deal? You choose.

(Noong mawala sa pwesto si PRESIDENT Erap, yung expectations na mawawala or mababawasan man lang ang Jueteng is hindi po natupad. Bagkus pa eh, lumalakas pa. Kung may lagayan sa jueteng na naganap during ERAP administration, saan na re-direct ang lagayan ng Jueteng during GMA administration? Huwag mo naman sabihin na tumigil ang lagayan ng Jueteng?) Recently, Gov. Among Palilio had cried-out about the son(congressman) of GMA is protecting the gambling lords/operation in Pampanga. There might be an ounce of truth about his claims. If indeed the political family of Arroyo clan is really serious in erradicating (illegal) Jueteng operations in the whole country or at least in their hometown Pampanga, it is very simple to deploy the needed force considering the power of the president has. But no, we haven't heard any decisive directions from the President to erradicate the Jueteng operations or at least put the gambling lords in to jail. No political will.

The advocacy to fight evil is hard when you are surrounded by the phalanx of it. But this should not stop us from doing good. Kahit pa puro masasama sila eh kung gumagawa ka naman ng mabuti di ba. Ang mahalaga, gawin mo ang mabuti. Labanan ang sugal, labanan ang lagayan. Huwag tayong pagpahawa sa lumalaganap na sistema ng corruption sa ating gobyerno. Layuan ang mga masasamang kasama na maghahatid sayo sa kapahamakan. Kung ang mga politiko ay nangangailangan ng political will, tayo namang may mga pagnanasang gumagawa ng mabuti ay nangangailangan din naman ng strong will. The first time I heard the song "More Today Than Yesterday" was on Ally Mcbeal. Richard Fish sings "More Today Than Yesterday" on their favorite club which features Vonda Shepard (Ally Mcbeal Season 1, episode 11 [Silver Bells]). I found it cool how Richard Fish sings the song and how the crowd reacted and sings along with it.

The movie The Water Boy which features Adam Sandler is about a water boy who incidentally played as a college football player. It's a very funny movie. The movie also includes the song "More Today Than Yesterday" covered by Goldfinger. The cover song version has quite a modern touch and a louder sound.

And of course, so far, nothing beats the original song of "More Today Than Yesterday" by Spiral Starecase. Simple and the drumbeat is energetic with a touch of classic. It is also worth mentioning that the song was created in 1970 but it's still gets a regular playtime in parties, variety shows and different happy occasions. (The vocals sounds like a chick but he's a dude). The lyrics is really cool. It's about falling in love more and more as time passes by. Appreciating everything around us as days passes by.

I love the sound of Rizal Undeground (Sabado Nights), the Villegas twins (Mike and Angelo) are cool. There are two versions of Bilango, One is the rock version and the 2nd is the acoustic version. Both of the versions are cool but I prefer the acoustic version, it's more heartfelt. Parang bigay na bigay yung kumakanta sa acoustic version. Yung hagod ng boses niya, rinig na rinig, I love it. Palagay ko there's no need to explain the lyrics because it's really deep as a knife in the heart. Kahit patalim ay madadaig. And of course, obviously, the guitar riffs are really awesome.

Actually, tingin ko, yung drum beat ang nagdala ng impact ng message ng kanta. Tapos yung boses ng vocalist is very simple, ang sarap makikanta sa kanya. Specially dun sa last part ng kanta (time-04:11) where the climax of the song is already at it's highest level to the max. Grabe! Ang ganda ng kantang ito. Klassik!

What Can I Say? Without Love is one of the most underrated song by Bon Jovi on their album Slippery When Wet. The song was overshadowed by their other giant hits from the album such as "You Give Love a Bad Name", "Livin' on a Prayer", "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "Never Say Goodbye". Without Love is one of my favorite Bon Jovi songs. And yes, music from 1980's rocks!!!

The song tells about the importance of love in our lives. You feel empty without love. In the first stanza, I'm assuming that the girl which is "not young, but still a child" was a prostitute in the street that said "I been through some changes, But one thing always stays the same...there's nothing without love". While in the second stanza, I'm also assuming that it is a bum or someone who made a big mistake in his life walking in the street that said "I been through some changes, But one thing always stays the same...there's nothing without love".

The bridge of the song tells how he(the singer) realised how he ignored or took for granted the love that was given to him. He realised how love is important to all of us. (This is after a prostitute and a bum in the street told him that there is nothing without love.) Previously, he was scared on showing his feelings or returning love to others but he already realised that there's nothing to be afraid of. We need to love each other in order survive in our lives.

When I'm still living with my parents, we always tune in our radio every Sunday Morning to the FM Radio station that plays those Good Oldies Song (60's-70's). I have heard the song CHERISH by The Association on the radio before but it didn't hit me that much until I watched The Simpsons episode (The Simpsons Season 20 episode 06 - Homer and Lisa Exchange Cross Words) about Lisa being addicted to crossword. Lisa Simpson joined a crossword contest.

Homer Simpson, being bored with the contest, decided to join some other guys on betting who will gonna win the crossword contest. Lisa Simpson lost the contest. She found out that her father bet against her so Homer won some cash while Lisa felt sad on lossing the contest. Homer Simson and Lisa Simpson had a quarrel - just like a normal father and daughter little fight.
When Lisa Simpson finally forgave her father and reconciled with Homer Simpson, CHERISH played along as the background music while Homer gave Lisa Simson a piggy-back ride and the father and daughter started playing again. Such a touching episode

Well I guess I'm one of those guys who still love to hear music from the 90's and 80's. For the reason that these decades are the historical climax of metal music which gave us the legendary metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeth. Many of those (quick to criticize) people think that these bands promotes Satanism and other like. But by simply reading the song lyrics will make you think otherwise. I'm not praising or promoting these bands but what I'm pointing here is to read the lyrics and probably you may get something nice from its message.

Perhaps, it is more intelligent to listen to these bands than memorizing the songs we're hearing these days on the radio. Don't believe on some gossips about hidden messages thru back masking. They simply do not exist and just imagination of some hypocrites. Remember the time were back-masking was featured in Magandang Gabi Bayan hosted by VP Noli DeCastro? I think Nativity In Black album is the best tribute compilation ever made. I love watching 30 Rock.
Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are really funny. I also like Jane Krakowski as a blonde comedienne who is hungry for attention among fans and co-workers (her role is quite similar to her previous role as an odd lawyer in Ally Mcbeal). I think 30 Rock is better than the Everybody hates Chris by Chris rock (I also love EHC btw). But one thing I'm curious about 30 Rock is it has a more than often it mentions Filipino-related remarks.
Pilot - Season 1 Episode 1
-Tina Fey wears a business dress and she said that it's ok if she's the President of the Philippines.
When I heard this remark, I did not feel anything because I really don't care about Gloria Arroyo. Her presidency is in clear doubt because of massive cheating in the election, rampant graft and corruption during her administration and her close ties with the family-run religious small sect Iglesia ni Manalo.
Jack Meets Dennis - Season 1 Episode 6
-Tina Fey was introduced by Alec Baldwin to a guy who got successful being mentored by Jack Donaghy. Tinay Fey thought she was being love-match to the guy. The guy said that he is already married. Jack said that the guy is happily married to a filipina gal.

Flu Shot - Season 3 Episode 8
Tina Fey is planning to have her vacation in Carribean island with a Filipino lover.
This is the most evident filipino-remark mentioned in 30 Rock so far. This is quite a positive mention for a Filipino named Banyani. I never met a filipino named Banyani in the Philippines though.

When I read the title of the 11th episode in the 2nd season is MILF island,
I thought the episode will about the Muslim group in southern Philippines. Instead, the episode is about a reality tv show starring sexy mommies on an island with young adolescents losing their innocence.

I wonder if the writers of 30 rock includes Filipino/s or do they have Filipino relatives or they just love filipinos. I just hope they do not hate Filipinos and do not mention Filipinos in a sarcastic way.

I'm sure that the entire small members of the sect Iglesia ni Cristo will not gonna be happy to hear that their Iglesia Ni Cristo church in southern Philippines are being blasted by suspected muslim rebels. The Iglesia ni Cristo members are well-known for treasuring their churches very much. They treasure it very dearly. I know a high school friend who is a member of this small sect who often boast about their modern house of worship to convince me in joining their group.

For the past months, there are more than twice reports that Iglesia ni Cristo locale in southern Philippines are being blasted by suspected muslim rebels. In early January 2009, shrapnels destroyed the church windows after a fragmentation grenade was thrown inside the INC compound in Cotabato. No one was injured.

I just hope that the Iglesia ni Cristo will not do any violent retalliation attacks that will trigger any religious war between them and the Islam believers. Our Muslim brothers are also known peaceful unless their beliefs are not being disrespected by others. We can live harmoniously as along we can respect each others beliefs. (There's a report that the INC has already "tightened their security in Kabacan after two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were found" in INC church gate last November 2008) I hope Iglesia Ni Cristo can live up with the image they want us to believe that they are peace-loving Filipino Citizens. Let justice takes it course so we may live peacefully.

battery life is 2-2.5 hours using e-Sword bible software

Cons
speaker and audio is really awful (less Bass)
webcam is dark (can be configured in Skype sessions)
no VGA output port
the external power cord is quite big for a small netbook

The good factors of the HP mini 1000 series are the ones
that bloggers need on their mobility and connection needs.
There's a DELL Latitude D630 (14 inch) notebook at my home but it's quite big and heavy.
I really don't consider the DELL Latitude D630 a laptop because it's very
seldom that I place it in my lap while using it unlike the HP mini 1000.
The HP mini 1000 does not heat up on your lap that much.

I think the 60gb hard disk capacity is enough for a netbook.
Also, the 1gb memory is fine for me because I'm not into gaming that much.
After I installed the softwares I need, the boot up time is less than 2 minutes.
Usually I just hibernate it for faster use.
What I will be using the netbook is for blogging and
watching barbie cartoons on the road for my 2 year old daughter.
I don't need a big capacity space for a netbook.

You should get a netbook because of you mobility and connection needs.

I am very pleased (and proud) that this netbook placed a SIM Card slot
hidden in the battery compartment. Instead of a USB connection to connect
to your mobile broadband connection,
you can insert the SIM card under the HP Mini 1000 netbook.
Really cool!

And yes, I can send SMS message using my mobile broadband connection.
Using the HP Connection Manager (SMS Message Center), you can send and receive SMS messages.
After some browsing the net,

Hindi ako nahilig dati sa history class (Sibika at Kultura) noong ako'y elementary at high-school. Mas preferred ko Filipino at English subjects na may mga literature topics. Gusto ko din ng Science, at kagaya ng karamihang bata sa eskwela, ayoko ko din mathematics. Ako ay kumuha ng kurso ng Computer sa kolehiyo.

Noong lumusob sila Trillanes (Oakwood Mutiny) sa Makati noong July 27, 2003 upang patalsikin si Gloria Macapagal Arroyo sa Malacanang, at nakilala sila sa grupo na Magdalo soldiers, ang unang pumasok sa tanong ko ay, Magdalo? Hindi ba ang Magdalo at Magdiwang ay grupo nila Aguinaldo at Bonifacio? Alin nga pala sa Magdalo at Magdiwang, ang kay Aguinaldo at Bonifacio? As in, wala akong idea. Nakalimutan ko na. Ang alam ko lang eh, nag-exist ang 2 grupo, may Magdalo at Magdiwang. Yun na.

Nagpasimula akong magsaliksik. Napunta ako sa mga columns ni Ambeth Ocampo ng Philippine Daily Inquirer. Marami akong natutunan sa kanya. Binuhay ni Ambeth Ocampo ang aking kamalayan sa history. Hindi boring ang mga columns ni Ambeth. Na-inlove ako sa Philippine History. (Kung siya siguro ang naging teacher ko noong elementary-high school baka hindi computer course ang kinuha ko, hahaha!) Binasa ko mga previous columns niya about different heroes. Dumating ako sa point na parang kulang. May mga pieces ng jigsaw puzzle na binigay si Ambeth Ocampo na kailangang makita sa ibang angle.

Na-fascinate ako sa buhay ni Bonifacio.

First case of ‘dagdag-bawas’?

Hindi maikakaila siguro ng mga seryoso sa Philippine History na may Aguinaldo-Bonifacio feud. Hindi naman siguro basta-basta nag-tantrum lang si Bonifacio sa Tejeros convention. Ano yun, nag-walk out si Bonifacio ng walang mabigat na dahilan? Nag-google ako sa internet, pero hindi ko makita yung liwanag sa dilim na hinahanap ko sa kasaysayan ng buhay ni Bonifacio.

Nag-decide akong maghanap ng libro sa National Bookstore. Isa na yatang pinakamalaking branch ng National Bookstore ang nasa Cubao, Quezon City. At tutal doon ako dumadaan pauwi sa Montalban upang sumakay ng FX taxi. (Rodriguez na po ngayon ang dating Montalban. Pero hanggang ngayon, Montalban pa rin ang tawag KO sa lupang kinalakihan ko. At after magbasa ng Philippine History, mas lalo akong proud na taga-Montalban ako at hindi hindi ako taga-Rodriguez)

Masuwerte kong nakita ang libro ni ADRIAN E.CRISTOBAL na may pamagat na THE TRAGEDY OF THE REVOLUTION. Ako ay natuwa sa nilalaman ng libro. Ito ang naging isa sa paborito kong libro. Nabili ko yung libro sa halagang P320 noong May 24, 2007 (Thursday). Although bumili din ako ng libro ni Ambeth Ocampo na (Rizal without the turncoat).

Simulan na po natin ang kwentuhan. Hindi pala tamang ipasok sa ating isipan na si Andres Bonifacio(SUPREMO) ay isang taong naka-camisa-de-chino na mukhang magsasaka, nakayapak, may dalang itak at sumisigaw ng "SUGOD MGA KAPATID" (makikita natin na naka-coat si SUPREMO sa kanyang ONLY picture na nasa studio sa taas) Si Andres Bonifacio(SUPREMO) pala ay "literate man" at sa labanan, ay may dalang baril. Ang SUPREMO ay nagtrabaho sa maituturing nating multi-national company noong panahon na iyon. Itininatag ni Andres Bonifacio(SUPREMO) ang KKK kasama si Emilio Jacinto at Dr. Pio Valenzuela. Itinatag ng SUPREMO ang KKK after na hindi na umubra ang LA LIGA FILIPINA nila Rizal. Nawalan ng saysay ang LA LIGA FILIPINA after damputin ng mga kastila si Jose Rizal. Mapapansin po ninyo ang dahilan ng SUPREMO kaya niya itinayo ang KKK. Para ipagpatuloy ang sinimulan ng LA LIGA FILIPINA. Hindi niya inagaw ang pamumuno ng LA LIGA FILIPINA. (Hindi kagaya ng pag-aagawang nangyari sa TEJEROS CONVENTION, paguusapan po natin mamaya ang TEJEROS CONVENTION)

Si Emilio Jacinto ay isang matalinong estudyante ng kolehiyo sa Letran. Maraming sulat si Andres Bonifacio(SUPREMO) kay Emilio Jacinto at sa mga sulat na yun, makikita natin ang "intimate" relationship ng dalawa. (Close ang dalawang bayani) Pati si Gregoria Bonifacio (asawa ng supremo) ay sumusulat din kay Emilio Jacinto. Close ang mag-asawang Bonifacio kay Emilio Jacinto. Ang mga sekreto ng Katipunan na sinulat ng SUPREMO kay Emilio Jacinto na kung mababasa ng mga kastila ay malamang eh patayin ang messenger ng Katipunan na may dala ng sulat. Mahalaga nating maalala na wala pa pong cell phone noon. Walang TXT, Walang Email. Walang telepono ang mga katipunero upang pag-usapan ang kanilang taktika sa giyera.

Ang isa sa mga messenger ng KKK ay si Genaro de los Reyes. (Naglalakad lang ang mga messenger dati paikut-ikot sa kalakhang Manila at karatig bayan, kaya delikadong tungkulin ang pagiging messenger ng Katipunan) Pati sila Andres Bonifacio(SUPREMO), Emilio Jacinto at iba pang mga bayani ay naglalakad lang.

Noong pasimulan ni Supremo ang giyera, sinimulan nila sa puso ng mga manglulupig, sa Manila. Oo nga naman, ang karamihan ng kastila ay nakahimpil sa Manila noong mga panahong iyon. Kung sisimulan nga naman ang Filipino-Spanish war, let's say sa Bulacan, Pampanga or Cavite, bago pa man sila makarating sa Manila, eh mahaharang na sila agad ng mga kastila. August 30, 1896, inatake at nilusob nila SUPREMO ang gunpowder storehouse sa San Juan. Matagumpay nilang naisagawa ang una at impresibong atake laban sa mga kastila.

You see? Matalinong bayani si Andres Bonifacio. Hindi Siya tanga. Eh bakit daw, "maraming" natikmang talo si Andres Bonifacio sa pakikipaglaban? Hello, Central of Power kaya ang nilusob ni Andres Bonifacio, what would you expect. Kahit si Aguinaldo, nakatikim din ng MGA pagkatalo sa ibang labanan. Kung pagalingan sa pagiging General ang pag-uusapan, mas magaling at kinatatakutang general si Antonio Luna, na pinatay ng mga ka-traydoran ng mga tauhan ni Aguinaldo. THE WAR RECORDS OF ANTONIO LUNA IS WAY BETTER THAN EMILIO AGUINALDO. May mga napanalunan din naman si Andres Bonifacio pero hindi ang point is paramihan eh. Yung mga inaaping pinoy noon, naghihintay lang naman sila ng magsisimula ng pag-laban sa kastila eh. At si Andres Bonifacio ang nagbigay sa kanila ng lakas ng loob na "KAYA NATIN ito mga kapatid".

Emilio Aguinaldo? Siya ay sumali sa KKK under the leadership ni Andres Bonifacio. Si Andres Bonifacio ang nagpasimula ng giyera at hindi si Emilio Aguinaldo. Under lang ni Andres Bonifacio si Emilio Aguinaldo. May gobyerno na ang mga katipunan/katagalugan bago ang Tejeros Convention. Ang supremo ang nagbigay ng lakas ng loob sa mga pinoy na ang dala ay itak at kunting baril upang lumaban. Logic dictates, na alam din ni Emilio Agunaldo na tama ang decision ni Andres Bonifacio. Hindi minagaling ni Aguinaldo na simulan ang pag-aalsa sa Cavite. Sa Manila nga dapat simulan ang giyera.

Ang SUPREMO ANG NAGBIGAY NG PUSO SA PINOY PARA LUMABAN.
May baril ka nga, wala naman sa puso mo ang paglaban, wala din.

Everyone knows na ang paglaban ng mga pinoy sa kastila is quite premature. May mga puso na sila sa paglaban noon pero wala pa silang armas to ensure their victory. May meeting ang Katipunan dati sa Antipolo, May 3, 1896. Napag-usapan doon ang pagsimula ng giyera. During ng kanilang meeting, nag-suggest na ang SUPREMO na simulan na ang atake. The willingness to attack is already at the hearts ng mga pinoy. Marami na din ang napapatay at napaghihinalaan ng mga kastila about sa pag-alsa. Hindi sumang-ayon sila Aguinaldo (Magdalo) at Santiago V. Alvarez (Magdiwang) kay SUPREMO, magpadami pa daw muna ng armas. Ang SUPREMO ay tumitingin sa kahinugan ng puso ng mga pinoy. Pinadala nila si Dr. Pio Valenzuela sa Dapitan upang kumunsulta kay Jose Rizal. As always, Jose Rizal is still convinced na hindi dahas ang sagot sa pananakop ng kastila. Jose Rizal still believes that the Spaniards can still be convinced by words. Jose Rizal was wrong. Yung mga kasama niya was playing safe. So they decided to hold off the war for the moment.

Ang nakakalungkot ay may 2 pinoy na nag-away tungkol sa pagtaas ng sweldo sa paggawaan ng diyaryo. Yung isang pinoy, "kapatid" sa KKK, yung isa hindi. Ang pag-aaway ng dalawang pinoy ang naghatid sa pagkakabunyag ng KKK. Ito ang nag-pasimula ng "premature" war ng mga Filipino against sa mga kastila.

Dumating ang August 1896 ay sumigaw ng paglaban sila Bonifacio laban sa mga kastila. Sumunod ang mga karatig lalawigan sa pag-alsa sa mga kastila. Kasunod ng pasimula ng giyera ng mga pinoy laban sa kastila, ang pag-alsa ay kumalat at nakarating sa Cavite. Sa Cavite ipinanganak ang samahang Magdalo.

Sa pangungulit ng mga Magdiwang sa Supremo na dumalaw sa Cavite upang makita ang progress ng samahan sa Cavite ay na-convince ang SUPREMO na pumunta sa Cavite. At sa nakikitang pag-kaka-hiwa-hiwalay ng Magdalo at Magdiwang sa pag-sugpo sa kaaway, pumunta na din ang SUPREMO sa Cavite upang pag-isahin ang mga pinoy. Ang masama, pagdating ng SUPREMO sa Cavite, may mga leaflets na nagkalat upang sirain ang pagkatao at credibilidad ng SUPREMO sa pagiging lider ng Rebolusyon. Nagkahugutan ng baril ang Supremo at si Daniel Tirona tungkol sa leaflets. Ito ang unang pagkakataon na binunutan ng Baril ng SUPREMO si Daniel Tirona.

Ang Magdalo at Magdiwang factions pala is actually umiikot lang mainly sa Cavite. Ang mga lider nila ay sila Baldomero Aguinaldo (Magdalo) at si Mariano Alvarez (Magdiwang). (Contrary to popular belief na ang Magdalo-Magdiwang is Aguinaldo-Bonifacio factions.) Not entirely involved ang ibang lalawigan sa Magdalo at Magdiwang Rivalry. May mga nabasa akong ang Magdalo is mababa ang tingin kay SUPREMO. The reason kung bakit sumang-ayon ang SUPREMO sa TEJEROS CONVENTION is para pagkaisahin ang grupo ng MAGDALO at MAGDIWANG. Ang malas nga lang, nung nagsisimula na ang TEJEROS CONVENTION, pinalitan ang agenda ng meeting. Palitan na daw ang KKK ng isang REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMENT.

Pumayag ang SUPREMO sa isang halalan sa isang condition na igagalang ng nakakarami ang magiging resulta. Nanalo si Aguinaldo sa pagiging Presidente. Nagpatuloy ang halalan. NAGPAPATUNAY PO ITO NA HINDI NAG-WALK OUT SI BONIFACIO DAHIL HINDI SIYA NAGING PRESIDENTE. Pinabayaan pa ng SUPREMO ang halalan hanggang sa gumawa ng eksena si Daniel Tirona. Kinuwestion ni Daniel Tirona ang educational background ng SUPREMO sa pagiging Director Interior.

Points sa Tejeros Convention:
-hindi dapat ituring na "NATIONAL" election ang Tejeros Convention
dahil HINDI WELL-REPRESENTED ang walong lalawigan
na nagpasimula ng pag-alsa ng mga Pilipino sa Kastila
-mostly mga Caviteno ang attendees ng Tejeros Convention
-Wala ang mahahalagang personalidad sa halalan gaya mismo nila Emilio Aguinaldo, Emilio Jacinto at iba pa.
-Ang buong Katipunan o mga Pilipinong lumalaban sa Kastila ay walang kinalaman sa naganap na halalan
-Bakit hindi man lang yata naparusahan ang nagpakalat ng leaflets against sa SUPREMO bago naganap ang halalan?
-Bakit biglang nawala si Daniel Tirona sa Tejeros Convention after niyang hindi igalang ang pagka-halal ng SUPREMO?
-masasabi mo bang naging malinis ang election sa Tejeros Convention after mong mabasa ito?

Nilitis ang magkapatid na Bonifacio.
Sinabing tinangka daw ng SUPREMO na patayin daw si Aguinaldo.

May mga Historian na nagsasabi na dapat lang patayin si Bonifacio kasi
magkakahati ang mga Pilipino sa pakikipaglaban sa mga kastila.
Masaya ko pong sasagutin ang mga historians na ito.
Hindi ako nagmamagaling pero baka hindi pa nakikita ng mga historians ang mga points na ito.

Chinese Democracy is finally here.
The whole list of songs from the album can be heard on GNR's MySpace account.

I listened to all of the songs all over again and I love it.
Am I going to buy it? Yes. I'm going to buy it on my salary day

It's a full-blown Rock N' Roll album.

I think it's not fair to expect this album to be as good
as the immortal Appetite For Destruction album
although The Chinese Democracy album delivered more than expected.

Don't mind those critics saying it's not GNR without Slash, Duff and Izzy.
Frankly, I didn't miss Slash on this album.
I love Slash but the guitar works on this album are worthy enough to be included on a GNR album.
I love Slash, Duff and Izzy but I think we should get over with it.
They're not with Axl anymore.

You should not judge the music of the album because of
- missing original band members
- 15+ years late
- millions of $ cost of production
- your preference about the taste of Dr. Pepper, etc, etc, etc.

The album as a whole is Rock N Roll.

Why 15 years late?
Why millions of $ was used in the production of the album?
Why a list of musicians is involved with the album?
Upcoming GNR reunion?

It took Axl 15 years to look for the right musicians to replace the former 'gunners'.
It took Axl millions of $ to get the right sound, productions and recording for the new album.
It took Axl to try a long list of musicians to fit for the MODERN Guns N Roses.
Should we expect a reunion in a near future? I think Not.

Critics and Mainstream media gave their negative opinions about the album.
Some of them even gave their "must have beens" in each and every songs from the album.
It's funny as if they know how to rock more than Axl Rose.

Not even Metallica's "return to the their true form" Death Magnetic album can match
the consistency and impact of the heavy weight mammoth Chinese Democracy album.
How I wish Metallica would also make a 15 years absence from the limelight
to produce a better album compared to their previous albums (Load, Reload, St. Anger, Death Magnetic)

Metallica is Metal.
Guns N Roses is Rock and Roll.
BUT
The impact of the Chinese Democracy will be much more noticeable to the fans and music industry
compared to Metallica's Death Magnetic. Metallica made Unforgiven III?
Don't you think we had enough of the Unforgiven songs already?
Luckily, Axl Rose didn't make a 3rd version of Don't Cry here.

Man, you've got to love Axl Rose's voice throughout the album.
Just like Chucky (the wicked doll) said: A TRUE CLASSIC NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE.

If you are used to listening Metallica's previous offerings,
If you are used to listening Radio songs for sometime already,
If you watched too much musical movies already,
Chinese Democracy Album maybe hard to accept for a while, it will take some time.
Just think of yourself who has a sickness of listening mediocre music for the past years.

Chinese Democracy Album maybe the shot in the arm that you need.
Chinese Democracy Album maybe the bitter medicine that you need.
and hopefully,
Chinese Democracy Album maybe the music album that can answer the global financial problem
we are all experiencing right now.

Redemption Song

Actually the first time I heard this song was from Chris Cornell. Really nice. I love it. Then I heard another version of it during the closing part of Will Smith's movie I AM A LEGEND. I finally learned that the song was originally made by Bob Marley.

I think this song should better be the theme song of the movie the Great Debaters. It's a must-see movie, I guarantee you will enjoy it. The movie is about a group of African-American(black) students who won a champinoship debate which was previously dominated by white-Americans. There were a lot of prejudice about the African-American(black) students trying their way up to the debate championships. Against all-odds, the underestimated black-horse of the race finally won the debate and hold their Debate Championship trophy on the following years. I liked the role of Denzel Washington who was the teacher/mentor of the students.

Specially when I heard this meaningful speech during the practice of his students.

Do not kill them (the slaves), but put the fear of God in them, for they can be useful, for future breeding. Anybody knows who Lynch was, anybody? Raise your hand. No one? He was a vicious slave owner in West Indies. The slave masters in the colony of Virginia were having trouble "controlling" their slaves so they sent for Mr. Lynch to teach them his methods. The word lynching came from his last name. His methods were very simple, but they were diabolical.

The First stanza:
Obviously, the lyrics was about the American Slavery.
Where slaves are being bought and sold from the merchant ships.

The lyrics can also be applied to the people of Israel who were enslaved
by the Pharaoh/s of Egypt. For 400 years, Isralites were ruled over by the cruel
Pharaoh/s.

The Second stanza:
Religion/Biblical lessons were even used to American slaves by their masters to enforce obedience of the slaves. The African slaves were eventually freed by the Emancipation Proclamation of Abraham Lincoln during the American Civil War. After lives have been shed by the American Civil war, it took a peaceful declaration to finally free the slaves by their masters. The later part of the stanza also discusses the faith that brings hope to the people who were oppressed. Probably talking about Martin Luther King, Jr with his speech in the steps of the Lincoln Memorial " I have a Dream"

The lyrics can also be applied to Christians who were freed from sins after accepting Jesus Christ as their saviour.

Jesus forwarned his followers that believers of his words will be imprisoned, persecuted and killed.

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable Rights" of "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."

But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. And so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.

It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.

We cannot walk alone.

And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.

We cannot turn back.

There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their self-hood and robbed of their dignity by a sign stating: "For Whites Only." We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until "justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream."¹

I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. And some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.

Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends.

And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

Imagine God created the universe just as big as the Milky Way galaxy.
People would think that God is not that great because Milky Way galaxy is not that big.
Hubble space telescope can navigate the Milky Way galaxy and probably in a short period of time,
scientists "may" see all things that they are to see, within the Milky Way galaxy
and probably say... Hmmm there's no "great" creator of all of these things.

I assume everyone knows that there are 3 different types of triangle.
Equilateral - all sides are of equal length and angles
Isosceles - two sides are of equal length, two angles are equal
Scalene - all sides have different lengths, all internal angles are different

Now, one of the major trinity doctrine is that
The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit have equal power and glory
as stated in the picture below.

The unbiblical doctrine of Trinity is supported by the Catholic church
which is also being embraced by the protestants, baptists etc....

Where can we find the following verses saying that

Angel Of Death is a metal song by Slayer which is about Joseph Mengele (Josef Mengele) - a German SS officer and doctor who was well known for his atrocities in Auschwitz, the infamous Nazi extermination camp during World War II. Joseph Mengele was known as the Angel Of Death because he's the one who determines who will become a force laborer, be put to gas chamber or will be part of the human experiments from the prisoners arriving at the Nazi concentration camp.

Even children were not spared from his human experiments. He was fond on doing surgery without anesthesia and was also involved on research about twins. There were instances that he drain bloods from victims until they die. His human experiments were so evil and abominable. It's either you die inside the gas chamber or you will be part of his (live) human experiments.

"Mengele occupied his time with other numerous acts of the most base cruelty, including the dissection of live infants; the castration of boys and men without the use of an anesthetic; and the administering of high-voltage electric shocks to women inmates under the auspices of testing their endurance. On one occasion Mengele even sterilized a group of Polish nuns with an X-ray machine, leaving the celibate women horribly burned."

Mengele's experiments also included attempts to change eye color by injecting chemicals into children's eyes, various amputations of limbs and other brutal surgeries. Rena Gelissen's account of her time in Auschwitz details certain experiments performed on female prisoners around October 1943. Mengele would experiment on the chosen girls, performing sterilization and shock treatments. Most of the victims died, either due to the experiments or later infections. Once Mengele's assistant rounded up 14 pairs of Roma twins during the night. Mengele placed them on his polished marble dissection table and put them to sleep. He then proceeded to inject chloroform into their hearts, killing them instantly. Mengele then began dissecting and meticulously noting each and every piece of the twins' bodies.

At Auschwitz, Mengele did a number of twin studies. After the experiment was over, these twins were usually murdered and their bodies dissected. He supervised an operation by which two Gypsy children were sewn together to create Siamese twins; the hands of the children became badly infected where the veins had been resected.

The sad thing is no one will ever benefit from his experiments because his findings were never recovered. Or did Joseph Menegele actually make scientific research out of those helpless victims or did he just made a butchery out of those human flesh?

Peter Joseph even mentioned a lot of biblical verses through out the movie. Peter Joseph tried to act as history scholar and tried to pose as a biblical preacher.

Zeitgeist, the Movie is Peter Joseph's attempt to follow the success of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. Zeitgeist are full of conspiracy speculation about religion, 9/11 attack and the world bank. The arguments laid down to support the religious and 911 attack are ridiculous and funny.

Religions in the world are all part of a ONE BIG CONSPIRACY is not new a story and the claims of Peter Joseph are not different from a child who wants to make stories just to get attention. Conspiracy Theory is a new religion, and Dan Brown made it popular who Peter Joseph wants to follow.

I love this song.
But the music video is disgusting and very wrong in every way.

The music video is about a young man(played by lead singer Adam Levine) who is having a love triangle with his girlfriend and the mother of his girlfriend. Totally Immoral. The video shows that the mother of his girlfriend is being mistreated and unloved by her husband. In the end of the video, the love triangle was revealed. It's an embarassing situation and it is very wrong. In the video, the girlfriend even didn't do anything bad to her boyfriend to receive such a betrayal act.

The song Quicksand Jesus is such a very deep beautiful song by Skid Row.
It features the superb singing prowess of Sebastian "Baz" Bach.
The song obviously have a religious meaning and quite hard to explain.
Actually the entire song is quite is easy to understand,
what took me sometime to comprehend is the phrase "Quicksand Jesus".

To even complicate the meaning of the song, Skid Row made a music video for this song
which explains the verses of the song but not the phrase "Quicksand Jesus"

The music video

In the video, there was a child who had a seed on her hand and planted it.
The girl also found a rosary.
The seed grew as a strong and beautiful tree, and the child grew and turns out to be an old grand mother.

As the video near its ending,
the grand mother handed over the rosary to a girl(presumably her grand daughter) beside the tree.

In my interpretation, the video completely explains the verses of the song.
It's about handing down faith to the next generation.
It's about sticking to the true religion that was your parent or grand parents have taught to you.
The rosary in the video represents the faith.
Not necessary the faith as Roman Catholic but the faith to a true religion and faith to God.

The phrase "Quicksand Jesus" is the "Jesus" that people turn to as a last resort when they are already in a deep trouble instead of calling Jesus as their first priority. This always happen to the rich people who have a lot of money to pay good doctors to heal their sickness. But when the doctor says that there's already no hope then they will call Jesus to either blame Jesus for the sickness or ask forgiveness when they are already dying.

When the Pharaoh of Egypt refused to let go the people of Israel to worship God in the desert,
God bestowed ten plagues to Egypt. Thru Moses, God showed His power and gave deliverance to the people of Israel.
Even the Pharaoh's sorcerers submitted to the power that Moses showed to them.
It took up to the tenth plague to convince Rameses (the Egyptian Pharaoh) to let go the people of Israel.
Such a cruel heart. It was only until his son died when he gave up to the power of God.

The ten plagues were as follows:

My Hero

Hiro Nakamura is my favorite "hero" on the HEROES series in USA.
Yes, we don't need superpowers to be a hero.
Just by trying to be dependable and reliable to someone else,
you can be a hero.

You can be a hero in your office with your technical abilities.
Everyone is looking for you when a database server is down,
some programming task needs to be done in a warp speed and deadline has to be meet, faster than a speeding bullet.
You may need not super power to be a hero in your office
but your super skills can win you the title of being a hero or employee of the month award.

Ordinary people are heroes on their own rights.
Every responsible fathers / mothers are already heroes to their children.
They serve as inspiration and someone to look up to by their children.
Ordinary people who performs their ordinary jobs are noble people.
Firemen, Teachers, Janitors, Policemen, Traffic aides, Street sweepers etc can be considered hero
by simply performing their everyday job. Serving people with clean hearts is such a noble deed
that most of the people who have the power(political) sometimes forgot
by their greediness to keep their power. Great power comes with great Responsibility.
Thanks to our friendly neighborhood Spiderman who made that nice line of words famous.
Too bad that politicians just ignore and greet it with a jeer.

As you can see me in the picture, I'm doing some barbecue in the middle of the day during the family day with the brethren.
They told me that I've done a great job on that day. Although, some of them I think was just kidding or
just trying to convince me to continue on doing more barbecue, I took their comments seriously.
I enjoyed doing the barbecue and I truly felt that I really did a great job on that day.

While I was doing the barbecue, suddenly I remember my father.
He was the one who taught me how to the efficiently prepare the coal and equally distribute the hot coal
across the meat being cooked. Yes, there is a technique. I remember when I was being scolded when
I did something wrong while doing the barbecue or some of the meat were burned.
I learned from those mistakes and I also learned how to barbecue from my father.
If my father have heard those praises on how I did the barbecue on that day,
I know my father would have been proud of me.
My father was not able to finish high school but I learned a lot from him.
He put me to college in spite that we are poor. Yes, a father is a hero to his child.

My Hero and my baby

It's much easier to see heroes to ordinary people than to the elite ones.
Poor people who are being treated as dirt by the rich ones.
Four years ago, I saw a man in the television who was a cook and a preacher who showed me
the light and the old path that I should walk on. He has been my hero since then.
He is a high-school undergraduate. But boy, you cannot fool him. A very intelligent man.
I believe that his knowledge is a God-given gift. Bro Eli Soriano answers all questions by using the bible.
He even engage in debates with different pastors which his adversaries cannot gainsay the doctrines of the bible (Luk 21:15).

Bro Eli Soriano is a modern day hero. He inspires many. He leads many people on following God.

Boy, it's hard to find that kind of man in our time. You cannot put a good man down.
Just like Bro Eli Soriano, Bro Daniel Razon is full of conviction on their mission.
Extending their hands to the needy and doing all they can to spread the word of God all over the world.
This is not a joke. With numerous hours of religious programs on the television, radio, satellite and the internet,
they are really serious on saving people from the pits of hell.
Heroes are most of the time are being misjudged by the ones they are saving.
It's on the later part of the story people realize that the ones they are persecuting are the ones who are saving them.
I guess being a hero is not simple task. Being a hero requires a big heart.

Scientifically, blood can save other lives or even your own (thru Autologous donation). A lot of people have benefited from the blood donation from anonymous people. People may need blood transfusion because of different reasons such as replacing of blood lost during surgery, thrombocytopenia caused by a blood disease or some related blood disease. Worldwide, people are being encouraged by the Red Cross to donate blood.

Donating blood is a two-way beneficial to the recipient and to the donor as well. Donating blood can help stimulate the generation of red blood cells of the donor. Medical doctors have put restrictions on the interval a person can donate blood, several months I guess. Yes, blood can save lives. But not to those who ones who do not want it. Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe in blood transfusion. So please see what this faith can do.....

Through the years, the Bro Eli and Bro Daniel Foundation has been helping the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) to educate and convince people to donate blood and bring it to the blood bank. The ENDFOUNDATION.ORG has been tirelessly supporting PNRC to save lives of the ones who need blood transfusions. The mass blood letting program of the ENDFOUNDATION.ORG all over the Philippines has been providing the PNRC the help it needed to gather more blood and give it to the ones who are in need. Yes, I am also a blood donor I was initially scared of donating blood because I'm afraid of seeing blood (this is part on the reason why I didn't took nursing on college). Until I realized that a lot of people need it and I can actually save lives. Cool I can be a hero. Let's get it on.

Blood Of Heroes is a song made by Megadeth on their Youthanasia album. It's about some soldiers who actually survived a war and wants to immortalize their bravery of heroic acts by making legend of themselves. They want to be remembered as heroes of wars and not just worthless puppets of the war.

I hope I can do enough justice for this classic metal song by Metallica.
The Master Of Puppets is a legend itself. Released on the year of 1986 when Metal Music
is starting to dominate the world and the "The Big Four" (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax)
are battling to each other on who will rule the metal kingdom. Needless to say, during those time,
Metallica ruled them all. Simply no one can push over the Master Of Puppets album on its pedestal
which is currently still standing. I mean, all of the songs on the album are simply classic.
Metal worshippers have to simply have to bow down.

If Metal Music is a Poetry, then Metallica must be the Shakespeare of Metal Music.

The lyrics of Disposable Heroes is deep and very well done.
The music is so fast, heavy and quite difficult to perform.
The song is obviously an anti-war song.
In fact, this the best anti-war Metal song ever created.
There are two person talking to each other on this song.

1st person:

Ang Dating Daan gives free bus ride for public commuters

Three months ago, it was only a dream. Now, the vision by Bro. Daniel Razon to give free bus rides to commuters at EDSA is already serving people and brethren through the Ang Dating Daan Libreng Sakay Bus Project.

Considered as one of its kind in the world, the Project gives free public transport Monday to Friday from 5 am to 8 am and then again in the afternoon, from 5 pm to 8 pm. The routes are from Monumento to Pasay and then vice-versa. Aside from the ride, the commuters are served with hot coffee, Bible and magazines, The Blog and TOP or The Old Path, all for free.

Part public service and part aid in spreading the good news and the goodwill of members of the Church of God International, Bro. Daniel Razon launched the free bus transport project along with the mobile clinic and other public service efforts last July 22, during an anniversary special of UNTV 37 network, where his new program Good Morning Kuya is shown daily.

He broached the idea of the free bus ride before attendees of one meeting with KAPIans (or members of Kabalikat sa Pamamahayag Internasyonal) and professionals at the Edsa Shangri-la in Mandaluyong last May. He showed his vision and signaled that this project would be among the efforts lined up by for the continued public service to countrymen, as well as to share the care and concern that Ang Dating Daan members can give to everyone.

Not only the brain but Bro. Daniel also leads by example. As its proponent, Bro. Daniel exerted all means to make this vision a reality by staging a benefit concert to raise funds. The concert event was held at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel on June 3. KAPI was event organizer.

Currently there are two buses that roam the long-stretch of EDSA Avenue. Daily, a reporter on board the bus reports and interviews some passengers of the bus, which are then aired on Good Morning Kuya and Ito ang Balita over UNTV 37.

Members Church of God International's Ang Dating Daan (The Old Path) Web site, angdatingdaan.org, was the year's Most Popular Web site and its sixth, on top of its People's Choice honors in the organizations category.

This was declared at the 10th Philippine Web Awards (PWA) held last November 23 at the Teatrino Bar and Restaurant, Promenade in Greenhills, San Juan. ADD competed against up to 69 local Web sites that qualify in the finals round under 15 different categories.

ADD first competed in the PWA in 2002.

Bro. Daniel Razon, the Church's Vice-Presiding Minister and a popular media personality in the Philippines with TV broadcast works with UNTV 37, was the runaway winner of both Best Web site and People's Choice in the celebrities and personalities category for his danielrazon.com. His Web site competed with GMAnews.tv's Blaze of Glory mini site of Manny Pacquiao, and Alaska Aces' Web site.

Kaanib.net was declared People's favorite site in the community and portal category, and only received its Best Web site award in 2005.

UNTV Network's online home, where several programming by the ADD are aired, was also a big surprise winner of the Best Web site in the media category. BATAS party-list

With the aim of helping people thru FREE Education, passing laws which are pro-poor and to represent Filipinos on the Congress, BATAS party-list was formed. Members of Church Of God International (more well-known as ANG DATING DAAN) agreed to its good intention. The BATAS party-list nominated "KUYA" Daniel Razon as their first nominee.

When the election season started, BATAS supporters decided to make a history on making the Longest Caravan while campaigning for the BATAS "plataporma". Man, we were really happy and proud on that day. A very peaceful and orderly caravan was held. And after the smoke has been cleared of the May 2007 National election, one-seat in the congress has been reached by the number of supporters of the BATAS party-list. Which means that the first nominee of the BATAS party-list will represent it's supporters in the Philippine Congress.

Sad to say that Comelec wasn't sure of their mind and decided to disqualify BATAS party-list after 6 months of winning the election. What can I say about Comelec?

The BATAS party-list supporters want some change.

Yes, we proudly went out on the streets and showed our support for a party-list that wants to help government in helping people, provide FREE education and many other things.
Government can't do it alone.
Government needs help.

Being disqualified on the political arena cannot stop us from reaching out to our needy countrymen. Just what like "KUYA" Daniel Razon have said, with or without a seat in the congress, we will continue to do good and show what good things our organization can do.

We are not like some religious fanatics who went out on the street on the eve on Labor Day of year 2001 and made a violent protest to overthrow a president. We are not that desperate. INC members were injured/died on the violent EDSA 3. Now this is something that INC cannot be proud of.

BUHAY and CIBAC are evidently associated with their respective religion counterparts.
How about the link of Alagad Party-list to Iglesia Ni Cristo?

Mariannet Amper lived in poverty, no electricity, no running water, her parents have no jobs, not enough money to go to school and church: so she decided to end her life by slipping a rope around her neck and then hanged herself. This is a news that rocked the remaining sensitive Filipinos. Mariannet's hidden diary included her wishes on having a school bag, shoes, bicycle, 100pesos for school project and some goats for them to raise. Enough is enough. Last November 2 2007, the 12 year-old Mariannet decided to end all her miseries. She committed suicide. Really a sad story.

Yes, its hard to believe that a 12 year-old killed herself by the sole reason of poverty. I believe that Death is a process. After Mariannet's lifeless body has already been buried, Police said that they have proofs that Mariannet was raped so they decided to dug up her grave and do an autopsy. (Don't you think that the autopsy should've made before her lifeless body was buried?) Yes. I think Mariannet was raped. Her heart was raped when she was still alive and her corpse was also raped by scavengers of human misery. Perhaps, Mariannet should have added in her diary the phrase "GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD"

Raping a heart.

Poverty. Ok poverty is everywhere. Even the richest nations have beggars. GMA government said that Mariannet's case is an "isolated case". Being poor in the Philippines is not an isolated case. It's a norm. Suicide because of desperation, do you think this is a new one? Is it an isolated case or they are isolating the case? DSWD gave the Amper family P5,000 to help them with their grief. What? Congressmen and Governors attended a meeting on Malacanang received P500,000 and then you're going to give the Amper family P5,000? Isn't that Ironic. Anyway, Mariannet is already dead while the government officials are still alive so better to spend the money to the ones who needs it most? What a logic you have. Are you already desensitized by corruption?

Reading a report titled Girl who killed self lamented family’s poverty in diary makes it quite obvious how Mariannet decided to end her life. The report says...

Even with only two children left to feed,
the Ampers still have a hard time surviving.

A neighbor said that even in this "mostly poor" neighborhood,
the Ampers were being discriminated against.

"Ayaw makipaglaro ng ibang bata sa kanila dahil madudungis daw sila,"

Should I be asking too much for children to understand all of these?

I arrived at the concert venue at around 6:45pm. The Concert is scheduled to start at 8pm. Before looking for a nice spot near the stage, I bought a Megadeth T-shirt(Tour Of Duty 07 Event Tee) which costs S$35. I was lucky enough to have a good spot near the stage. Patiently I waited up to around 8:30pm before the show started. I am thankful that there were no support band. I'm expecting to see ONLY Megadeth, nothing more. I jumped when I saw Dave Mustaine, Glen Dover and James Lomenzo entered the stage while riffing Sleepwalker. This is my first time to see Dave Mustaine Live. I am very near the stage!!! I was initially planning to take down notes on my PALM TX to document the songs that they played in exact order but decided not do it. I preffered to sing, slam and head bang while the mighty Megadeth is performing. I liked James Lomenzo's enthusiasm on the stage. I find Dave Mustaine's skipping feet while walking around the stage very cool. I sweated a lot. The new Megadeth shirt that I bought earlier is really wet and I'm enjoying it. I was really surprised that Megadeth played the Holy Wars + Mechanix + Punishment Due. REALLY COOL. It appears that Dave Mustaine really enjoyed the Singapore crowd.

My only regret was not able to bring any camera. I thought that the concert promoter will be strict. But inspite of that, I really had a great time watching Megadeth Live! There's no doubt in my mind that if Megadeth will be returning here in Singapore, I will watch again and will be hoping that I can watch it with my wife.

I remember that when I was in the California USA, I was not able to catch Megadeth on their concert in Anaheim. Lucky that I was able to catch Megadeth here in Singapore. Megadeth Rules! Dave mustaine Rules!
