John Regala
You see some chapels with the 3 colors consist of Green, White and Red relating to a church they called themselves "Iglesia Ni Cristo". You can also notice the 3 colored stickers on their member's vehicles, jeepneys, cars, houses, gates etc. Sometimes, this is confusing because these 3 colors can be associated with a lot of other country flags such as Mexico, Ireland and Italy. Some Italian and Mexican restaurants are laided with the 3 color combination of Green, White and Red.
Last night (March 26, 2007), before attending the YCONCON rock concert, I've heard over the news about an INC member actor, John Regala was nabbed and released after a drug bust. The report on the gmanews.tv tells that the drug operation was held last Saturday after some nearby residents tipped-off police that there were on-going pot session on a house in Malate. The operatives captured the suspects at 3.30pm on Saturday but 2 of the 3 suspects were released Monday morning after an order of release was issued. John Regala(an INC member) was among of those who were released. So assumably, John Regala spent almost 2 days behind bars on a drug case.
Hmmmp. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Hmmmp. Are you smelling something fishy just like what I'm smelling right now?
It stinks?
Smells rotten?
Smells like shabu with a flavor of the 3 colors?
I wonder if the confiscated drug paraphernalias has also 3 colored stickers in it just like the INC vehicles.
Now, let's add more taste on the story.
If John Regala (an INC member) is "really" guilty of sniffing shabu on a Malate house last Saturday afternoon, and was not captured, being an INC member, John Regala is required to attend to their Worship Service on the following day (which is Sunday). Imagine John Regala attending INC worship Service on Sunday while he just sniffed of shabu the previous day. hehehe.
Cool? NO!
It suck and it's pathetic.
If drug addicts can sniff shabu on Saturdays, they can do it even on Sundays and Wednesdays or everyday, right?
Can you imagine drug addicts attending worship services and prayer meetings while high on drugs?
Can you be high on drugs and high on God at the same time? (my apologies for putting drugs and God in one sentence)
I've heard that being an absent on a worship service or prayer meeting to Iglesia Ni Cristo members is quite a serious offense to them and an absent from their gatherings would need some explanation. Now, how can John Regala explain to his deacon, worker or minister about this absence on last sunday's gathering? That he spent the whole Sunday behind bars, lamenting his 'lapse of judgement' being caught on a drug bust?
If John Regala will be able to escape the drug charges on him,
My question is, What is he doing in a pot session? Preaching Pasugo while the drug addict (the one that was left on jail) is sniffing shabu? EHEM. I'm just asking.
I rest my case your honor.
